Over this Memorial Day weekend, it was my buddy Albert’s 26th birthday. I decided to take him to FanimeCon 2011 at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA. We are both anime fans and can talk up a storm about all the popular characters; my all time favorite show is Naturo and Albert’s is One Piece. We wanted to dress up for the amine convention, but we found out about the event too late. But we were able to take photos with Bleach characters and a group of Super “Macho” Mario characters that I think had the best customs and personality.
If a university offered a degree in Anime, Albert would have a PhD; anime is really his best and favorite subject. I convinced Albert to make a YouTube video with me of the anime convention and I’ll post our adventure this Friday so stay tuned. Now enjoy the snapshots.

I’d love to go to one of those shin digs, being a anime fan myself I would really enjoy meeting some of the people who draw and animate some of my favorite series. They do such beautiful work, have your tried “Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040” yet?, its a great series.
