I was born and raised in the Bay Area and I grew up cheering for the 49ers football team. They are slowly getting better every year and they had a good chance making it to the Superbowl last season, but choked in the semi-finals; I still love them.
Ever since I moved to Chicago, the local TV stations only features the Chicago Bears football team. It’s hard to keep up with the 49ers stats and games, so I have to say good bye to my home team because I have adopted the Bears.
I feel like I’m cursed because all my home team sucks because just when the 49ers have a high percentage in making it to the playoffs again, I moved to Chicago where the Bears are having a slow and sloppy start. I’m hoping to watch a live Chicago football game this year!
Its called Warren Park. It is on Western Ave north of Devon. About 5 or 6 blocks north of the neighborhood where all the Indian and Pakistani restaraunts and shops are located.
You should join the gay football league in Chicago. Or at least stop by on a Saturday to watch. But I am afraid you might distract the guys on the field.
