I have been flying a lot lately, which was fun at first but now I\u2019m getting worn out. To make matters worse, I end up sitting next to people who want to talk the entire flight. I communicate with people all day long and I look forward to a few hours of alone time while flying. My friends and I agree that men don\u2019t like to talk more than 1,000 words a day; so a 4 hour conversation on a flight is too much for me. Face it; men prefer to communicate through non-verbal actions (aka body language).<\/p>\n

Since I was running a day late for my video and photo shoots in Hawaii, I was thinking about upgrading to first class. I use to think that people in first class were crazy for spending so much money on a ticket. I know some of them use their reward miles to upgrade, but that seems like a waste to me. On the other hand, first class people get nice accommodations when waiting for the plane, have priority through security, and they have those great big seats for sleeping.<\/p>\n

Another benefit when flying first class is privacy. I have found that when I\u2019m confined on a plane, it\u2019s the perfect time to write my blogs, think of new ideas for videos\/photos, and come up with new business ideas. In coach I either get people hitting on me or reading off my computer screen and then commenting on what I\u2019m writing. Half the time I\u2019m writing personal emails and talking about sexual stuff which I don\u2019t feel like sharing with the person next to me.<\/p>\n

So I have made up my mind, I\u2019m flying First Class next time I have a long flight. More than anything, I think this is a good way for me to get some time to myself as my schedule and life gets busier.
