There is no way that a lifter has never had an injury during their training. No matter how careful you are with your form and choosing your proper weight, an injury always creeps up. Whenever I feel like I have tweaked by muscles, I immediately ice it and take some Advil to decrease the inflammation. It&#8217;s best to apply an ice pack on a cloth to your injured area for 20-30 minutes with a minimum of 2 hours in between. The maximum amount you can do this in a day is 5 times. Also, more is better in this case to speed up the recovery process.
