<\/p>\nIt seems like every few years there is an Asian American actor who seems to appear everywhere, in print, movies and television.\u00a0 In the 90s it was B. D. Wong, for example, peering at us from movie screens and tvs everywhere.\u00a0 The Asian-American actor for the last 10 years who seems to get the most plum roles and screen time is handsome Korean-American actor John Cho, who gracefully made the transition from teen films to scifi, drama, comedy and big screen epics.<\/p>\n

According to Wikipedia, “John Cho is an American actor and musician. He is best known as Harold Lee in the Harold & Kumar films; John, who popularized the term “MILF” in the American Pie films; and Hikaru Sulu in the Star Trek reboot film series.” He has a good-looking Everyman quality that suits almost every type and genre of film, and he is aging VERY well at 45.<\/p>\n

His taking over of the iconic Sulu role in Star Trek (popularized by fantastic actor and gay icon George Takei) is probably the role he is most famous for at the present time, but audiences definitely remember him as Harold in the teen stoner “Harold and Kumar” comedies.<\/p>\n
