I was lifting some serious weight on the bench press exercise, but it didn\u2019t feel right. That\u2019s when I realized that the guy I asked to spot me was lifting some of the weight himself. I\u2019m sure he was trying to be a nice guy, but he totally messed up my set. I need to feel the entire weight when I\u2019m lifting and I always force one last rep out, to tear more muscle fibers which increases my strength. If I\u2019m not able to complete the additional rep, I land the bar on the safety pins. I guess my point is, if you ever spot someone, let them lift the weight, just help out if needed.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #68695f;\">For all of you who look at these photos and think it would be impossible to bench press this much weight yourself, you would be wrong.
