While in Japan I discovered my new favorite song. I saw the music video playing on a jumbo screen at a store and stood there watching it over and over, mesmerized. I can\u2019t understand a single word, but it is simple and catchy, and the music video is bizarre. The song is called “PONPONPON” by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I kept asking people that I meet while touring Japan, “Do you know who sings the Pon Pon song?” Finally one of my friends realized who I was talking about.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Later on, while at a karaoke bar, he sang the song to me which got me excited. Not because he sang the song, but because he had her exact outfit on (just kdding), lol.<\/span><\/h4>\n

I found the music video on YouTube and wanted to share it with you guys. The Japanese media keeps calling this girl, \u2018The Japanese Lady Gaga\u2019. What do you think? I totally disagree. Their music and what they’re trying to do with their music is totally different. The only thing they have in common is their outfits.<\/span><\/h4>\n
