I haven’t even noticed how fast August has flown by, between all the different projects I’m working on, my schedule can get pretty hectic. I leave for Japan this Wednesday but it hasn’t really hit me yet that I’ll be traveling for a whole month. It will only take me ten minutes to pack the essentials: underwear, toothbrush, comb, and condoms. I will seem real once I’m on the flight heading to Tokyo.
Thanks for the great recommendations from friends and fans, I’ve planned on visiting a ton of cool places. I will tell you guys where I’m going so you can mark your maps and get excited for future updates as I travel. I’ll spend my first week in Tokyo, staying in Ginza. After that Osaka, Kobe, Himeji, Kyoto, Nara and a short trip over to Miyajima. So stay tuned for all of the exciting adventures in Japan!

Hi,Peter. Glad to hear you are going to Japan, despite the dreadful earthquake that went on this year. Aside from my blessings, I also wish to support you by suppling some rudimentary japanese phrases that I know of (That is, if you are not planning on hiring a translator or taking a class beforehand of course):
“Hai”-Yes “Iie”-No “Mo-chi-ro-n”-Of course.
“Ohayou”-Good Morning!(not used after 10am)
“Konnichiwa”-Good Day.(or hello)
“Watashi wa Pitaa”-I am Peter.
“Anata wa daredesu ka?”-And you are?
“Nani desu ka?”-What’s this?
“Kore wa (noun)”-This is (some object).
“Daijoubu”-I’m fine.
“Sayonara”-Goodbye.
“Arigatou”-Thank you.
Here are some more common words from the top of my head:
akai-red
aoi-blue
midori-green
mizu-water
kin-niku-muscles(which u have a lot of)
kyou-strong
hinomaru-Japanese flag (meaning ball of sun)
tenki-weather
kimochi-feelings
sakura-cherry blossom,national flower of Japan.
Shibuya-a shopping district in Tokyo,u should drop by there.
