Stop Hating on Williams

I’m born and raised in the Bay Area; it’s the home of the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders. I grew up watching and following one of my favorite teams, the 49ers. My other favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles. I use to love watching Joe Montana when he played for the team.

Over the weekend, the 49ers lost the NFC championship to the New York Giants. I was stressed watching each play and depressed when my team lost their chance to the Super Bowl.

Kyle Williams The majority of the people who watched the game blame the rookie Kyle Williams for the 49ers loss, because he made rookie mistakes. If I could be anyone in the world, I would not want to be Williams. I’ve heard on the news that Williams is receiving tons of death threats and they seem pretty serious.

I understand that he messed up twice, but football is just a game. There’s no need to kill someone over it and I believe in second chances. So please, stop hating on Williams.

  3. Glad to know you are a football fan. I was born and raised in NYC. I love my NY (well some call them the NJ) Giants. I am thrilled that we will have a Giants/Patriots rematch. I too hope that 49ers fans are not too hard on Williams. The ball to the knee was a fluke. Field conditions were not the best given the weather. Go Giants.
