The other day I was at the gym waiting for my client in the cardio room and saw this extremely funny commercial on TV. It was for The Ladders job search company which helps people who make over $100k find a good match at a company who is looking for talented people. The commercial was so funny because they made these everyday people look like sex symbols. I guess you can say, The Ladders makes their clients look more attractive to potential companies. Well check it out, very funny.
I wonder how much they could get me?
Although the advert is funny there are a lot of complaints about it too, as not being appropriate for the context of job hiring and matching professional skills with corporate requirements. I have never used this company but this advert doesn’t entice me to do so as I can’t tell if they are going to take me seriously after that! Taken out of context it is a cute ad.
