No it’s not what you think, your fitness guru isn’t on the hard stuff. 😉 I’ve been traveling a lot recently, just in the past couple of weeks I’ve been to Europe, to LA, to Shanghai and back again. With all this traveling my internal clock has gone a little haywire trying to keep up with the shifting time zones. I’ve never been big on taking drugs, but traveling so much I’ve been seriously needing sleeping pills to help me fall asleep on long plane rides. I’m looking forward to traveling to China this fall, and to Europe and Japan this winter, but man I’m not looking forward to the jet lag! Do you guys have any tips on how to beat jet lag? Share them in the comments below.
I agree with Steve. You need to drink a lot of water and keep the same amount of sleep. Good luck on your trip. I hope that you will take alot of photo/video on your trip.
When you are in Europe will you be dropping into London if so I would like to meet you for a drink.
Yes make sure you rest on the plane and also keep getting up to walk around the plane. As been said drinking plenty of water.
Sorry, I just thought, also, it might help to use a Ginseng supplement to help you when you wake up, to get yourself going with good energy, and alertness.

Peter,
I suggest 200 mg to 400 mg of L-theanine, 30 minutes before you want to go to bed. This will be better than sleeping pills.
Not really apart from drinking water, eat healthily, don’t over do it, don’t drink alcohol. Ask the airline crew for tips, they do it all the time.
