Over the weekend, I visited my buddy in Las Vegas. At the time, when my friend moved to Vegas, he promised he would sell at least 2 books for every book he buys. It was a great idea since his home is filled with books and having multiple copies of a book is very common. He is retired and spends most of his time, selling books on Ebay. Fast forward 2 years later, his book collection has grown. I think he thought I said, for every 2 books he buys then he can sell a book.
Some might say he is a hoarder, but he actually has some expensive books that worth holding on to. For example, he pulled out a signed flawless Breakfast at Tiffany’s book and asked me how much I thought it was worth. I was thinking a few hundred bucks, then he corrects me that it’s about $5k. The funny thing is this is not his most valuable book. Who would have thought books can go up in value.
My eye open wide when I read how one book is worth so much money. Your friend have great taste in book. Good luck to the future.
