Between interviews, personal training, writing books, and starting new business ventures, my schedule is getting crazy and it is harder to find the time to take care of all the little things in my life, like getting my haircut. Lucky for me my stylist Luis started using new website called Vagaro.com, so I can schedule my appointments anytime I want from his website. Three days before my appointment I got an automatic text message from his salon and I was able to confirm the appointment right then from my mobile phone. I was totally amazed; I had never seen anything like this before in my life.
When I arrived at the salon, Luis showed me how he could book my appointment and check his schedule all from his iPhone. Then he handed me his iPad so I could update my Vagaro.com profile; I never even knew I had a profile on Vagaro. The more he showed me, the more I was amazed. From what he said Vagaro.com is like Expedia.com for the salon industry. Customers can visit the website, browse salons in their area and make an appointment with a couple of clicks.
Why didn’t anyone thing of this before? Luis explained that Vagaro.com is new to the industry but the feedback from his clients has been amazing and I can understand why. You can book appointments 24/7 from your computer and Vagaro.com sends customers email confirmations and text message reminders automatically.
After I left the salon I felt a buzzing in my shorts so I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone. I was surprised to see that it was an email “green receipt” from Luis with a link that let me book my next appointment just as I was leaving his salon. I love using Vagaro.com, but it might be even harder for me to get my haircut now that it is making Luis so popular. 🙂

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbour were preparing to do some research about that. We got a good book on that matter from our local library and most books where not as influensive as your information. I am very glad to see such information which I was searching for a long time.
