Mile High Club or Jet Lag?

Sleepy Boy Peter Le

I heard from one of my clients who works for United Airlines, that it takes one day for each time zone to recover from jet lag. Shanghai is 15 time zones away, so that means it will take me 15 days to recover? I thought she was kidding, but since I’ve returned home on Monday, I get tired at weird hours. I will wake up at 4 a.m. and take a couple naps during the day.

But I don’t know if it was the traveling that took the toll on my body or the renewal of my membership in the Mile High Club both going to Shanghai and returning to San Francisco. After all, I had to keep in shape.

SF Pride Weekend starts today and I better get some rest tonight to have enough energy to stay up late and party with my fans. It’s going to be one amazing weekend. I’ll see you guys this weekend in San Francisco. Check the flyer below for details.

  1. Aw…poor baby! Get some rest! I’m use on jetlag since I fly back and forth to and from the Philippines to here in California each year. It’s all about getting use to it. But it doesnt take 15 days. You just force urself to wake up the next day. Drink coffee or anything that will make you be hyper and awake all day. that usually works on me. I drink sodas in the morning after a long flight and no more jetlag! lol

  2. Hey Peter,

Saw your “Wet as it gets” video and fell in love with your glasses (amongst other things…) What brand are those? I’m in the market for a pair of nice glasses but can’t find much. Would appreciate your help!
