After watching Black Friday commercials inching earlier and earlier, I felt bad and did most of my thanksgiving shopping days before. I used to work in a retail clothing stores back in college, and during Thanksgiving, I spent the traditional dinner with family and worked at 5 AM the next day; it was pretty a standard custom for retails at the time. Now, I see store ads competing by opening at 12:01 AM for Black Friday and even at 9 PM on Thanksgiving day. It’s just getting nuts. I feel for all the retail workers and wanted to thank them for putting up with Black Friday.
