Finally some good summer weather and grilled burgers! It’s a cool event that Chicago is proud to have. This is the first of many food festivals that I have been waiting to attend. It’s a nice change from the Saturday night clubs hangovers to hanging out with some friends having some awesome burgers on Sunday afternoon.
I was surprise to see a Vietnamese burger creation at traditional burger fest. I had their shredded chicken, and the first bite reminded me of California, where it was so easy to order “banh mi”. It’s hard to list names of good Asian place to eat here in Chicago, so once I see an Asian place, I have to have something from there.
It’s a cool event. I came hungry and left stuffed like I came out of a buffet. I got some cardio getting there and walking around the entire place a few time, which equals to 3 miles. So, I pretty much balanced the overeating!
