Sometimes I feel like I’m Superman because I normally don’t get sick when the flu and viruses are going around. If I do start to get sick, normally a quick nap does the trick and I’m up on my feet saving the world again.
As you know from previous articles, I’m against taking western medicine because I believe it does more harm than good to your body. There are always side-effects to western medicine. Lucky for me, eastern medicine has always worked for me and I prefer it since it is based on natural cures.
One of the best ways to stay healthy, besides exercise and diet, is getting a weekly massage. I always feel energized after my massage. If I have something more serious than sore muscles, I visit my acupuncturist. The last time I really need to go to him was when I injured my wrist from training, I tried icing and massaging it. After 5 sessions of acupuncture, I felt 90 percent better.
The first time I got acupuncture, I was scared as hell because I hate needles and just the anticipation of the needle puncturing my skin made me sweat. Needless to say, the needles didn’t hurt and once they were in place, I was able to relax and feel an energy traveling through my body. I also found that my body is very sensitive to the subtle changes.
If I could make an energy drink, I would pour my sweat into a can and sell it. It would probably taste much better than the other drinks and I’ll call it SuperGin.
