My buddy Hal just moved from LA to Redwood City and asked me if I could help put together some of the new furniture. Hal had gone to IKEA and bought a lot of new stuff. I like to make everything a competition, so I decided I would beat the estimated 2 hour installation time. Actually I just wanted to get back home and play some Black Ops on my Xbox. I finished “screwing around” the last bolt in just under 90 minutes and realized it felt kind of good putting this stuff together. Most of the time when we work on something, we don’t get to see tangible results or a least not in 90 minutes; so this ended up becoming an enjoyable process. I asked Hal to take a few photos to share with you guys. Enjoy!

Hey.haha..yuo this is me..xander remember? I have my new account on youtube.hope we would still get connected..
Anyway, you make excellent pictures..haha
I just put together a new kitchen island and I could have used you. But you should use an electric drill, saves lots of time! Hmmm, I guess if you were helping me I wouldn’t mind it taking longer thoughh 😉
I have a lot more torque than an electric drill. Actually I’m more like a pile driver 8)
Whew be careful with all that torque Peter, you might break sumpin :p
Hey, Peter — I live in Redwood City too — next time visit me and enjoy my Russian-American hospitality. My Russian parents left me their nice country home in Palomar Park — 20 acres of open space, redwood, oaks, a small creek and a 3 story house with a pool. It’s an old place, nothing fancy — just a great home to relax and cherish the memories of my parents. I miss them a lot —- Daniel
Sounds awesome.
You are quite the handyman Peter. I wish you put it together with your shirt off. But that’s just my fantasy. 🙂
Peter is very cute~~
Let’s slog!!!
