This is part of the continued problem with our gay culture: a body contest. Perhaps why I was never attracted to any of the circuit parties as they have primarily focused on drugs, drinking, excessively loud music and being naked. There are other things in life -- for example cultured events, which never seem to get any focus in the gay community. (Same can be said for gay parades, only the tacky underdressed, and scantily clad folks make it on to the TV news). This just promulgates and intensifies many gad gay stereotypes.
I must agree with Moostro that most parties started with the good idea but most people remember the hot bodies,the drink,the food and worst how many people was involved in drug and hard drink. I am glad that you believe in the positive side of life.
