I recently traded in my tiny 2014 Lance Havana Classic 125 CC for the new 2015 Yamaha Bolt with 950 cc. It’s a bad ass motorcycle that rides like a solid car on two wheels. I actually feel more safe with my new bike because it’s big and I’m more visible, it’s loud so people will hear me, and it handles better so a tiny bump on the road won’t make me hop off my bike.
With any big investment, I do a lot of research and I read that this is a great starter bike that I won’t grow out of in a few years. I don’t plan on riding on the freeway because I can’t trust other drivers to drive safely. I don’t go over 50 MPH anyway. My learning curve on this bike is short because I’ve been riding on a scooter for a year and took a motorcycle course. I’m loving this bike and if you plan on getting a starter bike, I recommend this one. It’s the best.
