I’ve been trying to grow my manbun after trying so many different hair styles. I haven’t had the top of my hair cut for months now and it has only grown this much. I read online that the first 6- 12 month of the manbun is the awkward phase. I can’t style my hair much and hair products don’t really hold my hair in place. why the manbun? Well, I think it fits my lifestyle. I don’t like using hair products and want my hair to slick back in one direction. I didn’t realized that there are so many types of man buns, I’m thinking of keeping the top long and cutting the sides. For now, the awkward phase.
