I went to my friend’s birthday party in San Francisco and around midnight I decided it was time to head home. I was good and only had one beer earlier in the evening; so I was ok to drive. As you know, I like to drive fast, so as I was driving down Highway 101, I was going about 85 MPH. I was feeling great while listening to LAFMO’s “I’m sexy and you know it” song on the radio. About half way into the song I saw red and blue police lights in my rearview mirror.

I pulled over and rolled down my window. When the cop got to my window he asked, “Do you know how fast you were going?” Normally I would make up an excuse, but this time I told the cop that I knew I was driving 85 and apologized. I gave him my papers and he walked back to his patrol car. A couple of minutes later he came back and said, “Well tonight I’m going to give you a verbal warning, just make sure you watch your speed.” I thanked him and was about to roll up the window when he said, “And I just want to say, I like what you are doing on your site.” I love when I meet members, but this was extra special. What a great night!
