This weekend my friends and I spent a day enjoying the Renaissance Fair in Wisconsin. It was a cool seeing how things were like back in the days. I was able to throw a few axes, eat a tasty turkey leg, and watch a full-on jousting match!
You guys probably know by now that I’m buff on the outside, but nerdy on the inside so you know I had a blast getting to pretend to live the life of a medieval lord for the day. Hope you all have a safe labor day weekend!

I have never been to a Renaissance fair, only the medieval ones. Looks like it was fun to be there.
No idea whether turkey had already been widely distributed enough at the time though, it definitely was known in England in the 16th century. But prior to the 19th century it was a luxury in the UK.

Looks you had fun at the fair. I like the one with the turkey I wish i was eating that leg right now. I will have to take a trip to Wisconsin to see this fair in the future.
