I’m getting ready for a competition next month and I’ve been training my legs like a monster. I’ve been seeing gains but ever since I moved to another gym, all there olympic bars have rough gripping in the middle. It’s bad news if I’m lifting heavy because the bar resting on my upper back, as I’m doing squat, feels like sandpaper and after a while, it tears your skin. Some people think you have to be manly and endure the pain, but I opted out and got a squat pad. In my book, it’s about training smarter not harder. This pad cost only $15 and trust me your skin will thank me for it.
I must agree with you about training right. Good luck to the future.
