Getting Around in Chicago

I love walking but sometimes, I get too bored that it takes me 30 minutes to travel 2 miles. I was debating whether to purchase a bike, I did my pros and cons and decided to get a scooter instead.

I’m so glad that I did because I use my scooter mainly to get around in Chicago. It’s very easy to fold and carry on the train that a bike can’t do. I may look like a broke ass college student, but it serves its purpose.

In the beginning, I almost crashed into people ride it on the sidewalk and they would yell at me to use the bike line because it was dangerous. So now I ride and race with cars and bikers freely on the bike line and I even manage to pass speed bikers. If you see me on the road next time , please don’t flick me off πŸ˜‰

  1. If I see you riding around on your scooter, flicking you off is the last thing I want to do. I may slow down and offer you a ride- or I might just whistle at that cute ass πŸ™‚
