I recently visited Chicago for a few days to get out of Los Angeles to see some friends and eat. The weather wasn’t too bad, the temperature was around the 50’s and it was a nice break from the 80 degrees we get in SoCal. A light jacket and a scarf was all I needed to get around town. I ate at a few place in my old neighborhood and noticed that more and more restaurants were popping up. I guess where I used to live was a trendy place. The one food I missed the most was Al’s Beef Italian sandwich. There’s nothing in California that can compare to the original Al’s. Overall, it was a nice weekend getaway and now I’m refresh and ready to get back to business as usual!

Have you been to Gino’s deep dish?
I just saw your article on the Chicago Trip and I like it. I like the way that you still remember how your old neighborhood since you have move. I hope that you will show more about the old neighborhood real soon. Good luck to the future.
