After leaving Gold’s Gym in the Bay Area to move to Chicago, I needed to find another comparable gym with tons of weights, new equipment, a steam room, and hot people.
I’ve searched a bunch of gyms in the Chicago area and now I can say I finally found a gym to call home. I have never heard of Fitness Formula Club (ffc.com) before and I thought it would be one of those places where people mainly socialize and drink coffee on the machines, but I was wrong.
This gym is awesome and it’s one of those gyms I dreamed of opening when I was in college. This gym has everything a high-end gym should have: a juice bar, fresh towels, a steam room, a pool, new equipment, but here’s the kicker, they also have another outdoor swimming pool where they serve alcohol. I can basically live here. I took some photos of the gym outside, but I didn’t dare take photos inside since it was my first time there. I wouldn’t want people to think that I was photographing them.

Yes, it can get cold in Chicago, especially when the wind comes off the lake in the spring. But if Peter will let me, I would love to keep him warm and he keep me warm!
